The fifth of Soundwave's numerous creations, Saberwind's design resembles that of his elder brother, Ravage. He's equipped with an impressive assortment of high-resolution sensor hardware, making him well suited for a wide variety of scouting and reconaissance missions. An explorer at heart, often spends his free time familiarizing himself with any unmapped territory he can find, regardless of its tactical significance. Works well as part of a team, and values loyalty and trust above all else. Tends to rely on agility and creative thinking more than weaponry in combat, often using his immediate environment to his advantage. In wolf mode, armed with duranium claws and fangs, as well as twin rocket launchers, and occasionally an electro-saber that he carries with his jaw. Running speed: 50MPH; range: 800 miles. In data cartridge mode, stores information in holographic format on optical tape, yet can still utilize conventional microcassette hardware via a built-in electromagnetic interface. Can store more data than any of his siblings; sometimes uses this capacity to archive sensor logs while infiltrating Autobot facilities for later analysis by Decepticon Intelligence. His insatiable curiosity often compels him to take unjustified risks.
